The owner was incredibly informative and welcoming. He carried our bags, showed us around the room, and even told us about breakfast. The hotel was spotlessly clean, had comfortable beds, and a great view of the tower. The temperature was perfect and all the guests were respectful. We loved the Harry Potter-themed room for our son's birthday. The extra touches from the owner, like balloons and a wand, made it even more special. We can't wait to visit again!

I had a last-minute trip and was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. It offered excellent value for money, exceeding my expectations. The staff were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to make my son's birthday special. The hotel owner was informative, helpful, and clearly passionate about his establishment, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The hotel was clean and had a variety of themed rooms, such as the Star Wars room we stayed in. The location was fantastic, close to all amenities and right near the casino. It was very convenient and allowed us to easily explore this city.

The room was quite small and overpriced, with a double bed pushed against the wall making it difficult to get out at night. There was limited storage space for clothes and the sink had no plug or area to put toiletries.

The hotel is conveniently located close to the beach and the promenade, making it easy to access all the attractions in the area. Guests have praised the cleanliness of the rooms and the friendly service provided by the staff. The themed rooms, such as the Star Wars one, add a unique and quirky touch to the stay. The hotel also accommodates guests with mobility problems by providing lower rooms and allowing them to charge their mobility scooters in the hall.

Some guests experienced issues with the hot water system during their stay, which took a few days to be resolved.

Best stay in Blackpool! Highly recommend the Harry Potter and Star Wars rooms for adults and kids! Prime central location, close to the tower and beach. Clean rooms, lovely size for Blackpool! Owner greeted us with keys, very helpful and organized. No fuss check-in, dropped bags and took kids to sealife. Rooms equipped with condiments, water, and croissants. Will definitely stay again, it was brilliant!

Issue with cleanliness and lack of regular housekeeping.

The Shanklin in Blackpool was perfect for my one night stay. The location was great, just a 5-minute walk from the coach station and right by the promenade. The owner, Paul, was incredibly friendly and accommodating, even arranging a Harry Potter themed room for my son's birthday and providing extra surprises like a wand and balloons. The hotel was clean and cozy, perfect for families.
