Everything was fantastic.

Homely country pub atmosphere, with friendly staff and a great selection of hearty home cooked food. the well kept hand-pulled ales were a real treat, making it a genuine country pub experience. the location of the hotel was also perfect, tucked away in a quiet rural area, offering a peaceful and relaxing stay for Christmas.

The shower room could do with some cosmetic maintenance and a good clean. the water pressure in the shower was poor and there were signs of leakage and dampness in the bathroom area.

We had a fantastic time staying at this country pub. The location was great, with options for different types of rooms - some were right next to the pub, while others were away for privacy. The room itself was spacious and clean, with a comfortable bed and a nice en suite bathroom. The staff were friendly and helpful, providing us with useful information about the local area. Breakfast was delicious and there were plenty of options to choose from. We also enjoyed the live music and singing in the pub. One of the highlights was the proximity to the RSPB area and Friston's open garden event.

The internet connection was not reliable during our stay, which made it difficult to look up information about the surrounding area.
