I recently stayed at a charming inn, situated just on the edge of the stunningly beautiful old town. The location was perfect, as it was everywhere in the pub, right by the quay, and in the center of town. The room I stayed in was small, but well done out with good quality linens and fixtures. The staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly, providing attentive service. The breakfast in the morning was a great way to start the day.

One downside was the noise from the fan in the room above the kitchen.

This hotel is a great find in terms of value for money. The prices are reasonable considering the attention to detail and the prime location just on the edge of the antique centre. The staff are very friendly and the rooms are basic but recently refurbished, with a large comfortable bed and even a Nespresso coffee machine. The breakfast is included and the portions are good-sized, using very good quality ingredients. It's the perfect place to stay to explore the town centre and have easy parking.

All in all, everything was okay.

Bathroom in need of renovation.

The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, allowing us a free late checkout when we fell ill on our last day. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was clean and a decent size. The breakfast was tasty, although a little on the oily side.

Felt like our own home, no complaints.

Nothing to fault.

our stay at the ship inn was even better than our previous stay in rye. from the stylish and comfortable atmosphere to the superb breakfast and friendly staff, everything exceeded our expectations. the added bonus of free bikes for outings made our honeymoon extra special.

Mirror light in bathroom didn't work.

Recently stayed at a lovely inn in a charming town. The bedroom was comfortable with a nice-sized bathroom. The staff was absolutely lovely, from the moment I arrived till the moment I left. They were welcoming and so helpful. The location was great, within walking distance of notable sights. The breakfast was tasty and included. I'll recommend this hotel.

Not obvious to find

Stayed here for a night and loved my experience. Location was perfect as it offered easy accessibility to local attractions. the breakfast was fantastic with a great choice. the room was clean and comfortable with a cozy feel to it.

The dinner options were limited, but still, there were some great options to choose from. the downside was that the hotel was a bit noisy at night, which disturbed my sleep a little.
