Stayed at the lovely Shire Villa for a short getaway. The cabin exceeded our expectations, with its gorgeous, cosy wooden feel. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the shower was brilliant. We enjoyed our 5k walk in the afternoon, surrounded by horses, wild rabbits, and pheasants. It was so peaceful and quiet, not a single car passed by. Mandy, our host, welcomed us warmly and even allowed three of us to stay despite the accommodation being advertised for two. Truly a safe, clean, and lovely hut for a short stay. Highly recommend!

It was such a beautiful and romantic little cabin. We instantly felt at home as soon as we opened the door. The cabin was cozy, warm, and very clean. The views of the horses in the fields were breathtaking. The kitchenette had everything we needed to cook our meals, and there was even a supermarket nearby for any additional supplies. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and we both slept like babies. it was the perfect mix of remoteness and convenience for us. We already can't wait to come back and make it a regular getaway to reconnect.

The patio had lovely views of the garden, perfect for sipping my tea. The complimentary private parking was so useful, I didn't have to walk from Humberside Airport with my bags.

Who needs blinds on windows? I covered it myself, can't be too careful with those horror films.

I had a wonderful stay at the Shire Villa. It was absolutely beautiful and peaceful, the perfect romantic getaway. The cabin was cosy and comfortable, with lovely views all around. The hosts were fantastic, welcoming us and answering any questions we had. The location was fantastic, secluded and private, yet still conveniently close to a supermarket and woodland walks. The cabin had all the facilities we needed and we were able to cook our meals with ease. it was a truly special and relaxing experience.

One small issue was that the floor in the cabin was quite cold, especially in January. I would suggest bringing slippers if you visit during the winter.
