I stayed at The Shoe Inn for one night for a business trip. The staff is super friendly and provided extraordinary service. The place is warm and very clean. Rooms are a nice size, even for two people and two dogs. You can bring your dogs too! Despite being on the main street, the noise is minimal with closed windows. The food portions are massive and homemade. It's a beautiful place near New Forest with great trails. Parking is secure with CCTV. a lovely place with good recommendations from me.

The menu offered a variety of options, and the prices were reasonably priced, around £10 for most main courses. The atmosphere in the pub was cozy and welcoming, and the staff provided great service. The waitress was friendly and attentive. Another advantage was the location, with a convenient car park across the road from the pub.

The location of The Shoe Inn Plaitford is quite a distance from the town of Romsey, offering a peaceful and secluded atmosphere. With a pergola covered in grapes in the sweet garden, it provides a beautiful setting for relaxation. The big fireplace in the pub is perfect for enjoying after-dinner drinks, creating a cozy and inviting ambiance.

The Shoe Inn Plaitford is not suitable for light sleepers as the outside traffic noise is very disruptive, making it difficult to get a good night's sleep.
