We had a fantastic stay at a cozy pub in a charming village. The rooms were clean and comfortable with lovely decor. The bathroom was spotless and the double glazing kept most of the sound out. The breakfast options were great, with a delicious continental spread and the option to add on a cooked breakfast. We especially enjoyed the balcony with its beautiful view. I highly recommend this hotel for a wonderful stay.

We loved the friendly atmosphere in the bar, especially with the roaring open fire during the winter months. the home cooked food was delicious, and the location was perfect for exploring the beautiful Peak District. a wonderful experience of traditional hospitality! 👍

The room had a cozy 'stag' theme with spacious and clean bathroom. The service was friendly and accommodating, with the landlady going out of her way to make our stay enjoyable. The breakfast was freshly cooked and plentiful. We also appreciated the pub's location in the heart of the village, offering a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

The sound of church bells from 5am proved to be a disturbance for some guests.

They went above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable, even providing us with information about local transportation for an event we were attending. the food was delicious, with the breakfast being equally as good. I would definitely consider staying here again when I am next in the area.

We were even able to bring our furry friend along, who was made to feel very welcome. The only minor drawback was the thin walls, which allowed for some noise from the neighboring room. However, this didn't greatly affect our overall experience. We would highly recommend this pub and plan on returning in the future.

The food served for dinner was also delicious and the portions were generous. Additionally, the hotel had a good selection of beer and wine. I am highly satisfied with my stay and I am already looking forward to returning.
