I recently stayed at a hotel in Shrewsbury and had a great experience. The location was fantastic, with the bus station right next door and the river just a short walk away. I also loved the fact that there was a pub downstairs, making it easy to grab a drink or a bite to eat. The room itself was comfortable and clean, with a spacious bathroom. The staff provided excellent service and the breakfast was delicious. it was a wonderful stay.

I did encounter some noise from outside, which made it a bit difficult to sleep at times.

Our room at The Shrewsbury Hotel Wetherspoon had a great location, right in the heart of the town. We were able to easily explore the nearby restaurants and shops, as well as take a leisurely stroll along the river. The room itself was spacious and well-provisioned with tea, coffee, and water. We were pleasantly surprised to find an iron, ironing board, and hairdryer available for our use. The bathroom, with its few stairs leading up to it, added to the overall spacious feel of the room. The staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable.

While our stay was generally positive, there were a few minor drawbacks. The bathroom layout was a bit unusual, with a largely clear window and a second curtain to cover it.

Great central location in the heart of Shrewsbury, overlooking the river. Within easy walking distance of high street, castle, museum, Dana prison, bars, and restaurants. Room had a large bathroom with a good shower, tea and coffee facilities, and a comfortable bed. Very friendly and professional reception staff. Room was spacious, comfy, and well-fitted with modern and clean decoration. Lovely quality towels and excellent value for money. Super cheap and extremely nice breakfast. On-site car parking available.

The Thanksgiving complementary pie and coffee were really nice and a great gesture. the location was quite central and close to everything and the free parking was a relief. the room was spacious enough and clean.

The bed was quite hard and uncomfortable, it felt like sleeping on a rock. the walls were incredibly thin and the noise from the other rooms and outside made it hard to sleep.
