This hotel exceeded our expectations in every way. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel at home throughout our stay. The room was clean, modern and comfortable, with excellent facilities including a coffee machine and big TV with Netflix. The location was perfect, right in the heart of town. And the breakfast included in our stay was absolutely delicious, offering a wide variety of choices to cater to everyone's taste. We couldn't have asked for a better experience.

The spacious room at Spread Eagle was impressive and impeccably clean. The comfortable bed ensured a restful night's sleep. The staff was friendly and accommodating throughout my stay. The location was convenient and parking was easily accessible. The food at the hotel's restaurant was delicious, particularly the full English vegetarian breakfast. The historic charm of the 18th-century building added to the overall appeal. Additionally, the outside seating area was well-designed and provided a pleasant space to relax.

Absolutely spotlessly clean, very comfy bed, soft fluffy towels, beautiful room, fabulous breakfast.

The location of the hotel was great, very central and convenient for exploring the area. It was also clean and bright, which was a plus. the staff were helpful and accommodating, especially the manager who went out of his way to assist us.

The limited breakfast options were also a letdown. Another negative aspect was the lack of mobility-friendly options, as the rooms were located up several flights of narrow stairs, making it difficult for people with mobility issues.

This hotel really impressed me! First off, the location is perfect - just a short stroll away from the town centre and plenty of dining options nearby. The staff were lovely and went out of their way to accommodate our needs. The rooms were compact but had excellent facilities, including a huge bed and a great shower with plenty of hot water. And to top it all off, breakfast was included!

One small improvement would be to ensure a stronger toilet flush.

Plus, it's so close to the breathtaking beauty of the Peak District national park, perfect for nature enthusiasts like me. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with fantastic wooden beams and plenty of storage. The staff is friendly and attentive, ensuring a pleasant stay. The breakfast is tasty and there are even USB sockets in the room, which is a big plus.

All was fine, no complaints.

We had a fantastic stay at the Spread Eagle. the bedroom was cozy, spacious, and had extra pillows. the bathroom was spotless and towels were provided. We enjoyed the tea and coffee in the room, as well as the smart TV. the staff were brilliant and provided a high-quality service. the bar and restaurant had delicious and fresh food. one of the best B&Bs we've ever been to.
