The lodge was absolutely stunning, with beautiful decor and a cozy atmosphere. The sofas were super comfy and perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. The location is ideal, with so many attractions within close proximity. We were pleasantly surprised by the free access to a golf course, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The area is also great for dog walking, which was a bonus for us. We loved hanging out in the comfortable lounge and playing games on the lovely veranda. The kitchen had everything we needed and we appreciated the thoughtful extras left by the owners. The bedding was spotless and although the mattress was a bit firm for our taste, it's a subjective preference. The location of the site was convenient and felt private. Being only 20 mins from the coast, it was the perfect base for exploring. our stay was mind-blowing and we absolutely loved it!

We had a wonderful stay at the lodge. It was a home from home experience with a comfortable bed and a well-equipped kitchen for self-catering. Karen, the owner, was very welcoming and made us feel at ease. She even checked in with us to ensure our arrival went smoothly and offered her assistance if needed. The lodge was spotless and filled with thoughtful extras that made our stay even more enjoyable, such as welcome drinks and stocked fridge. The location was quiet, safe, and conveniently placed for exploring the beautiful Northumberland area and its attractions.

Lovely country retreat, quiet and peaceful. Clean and tidy lodge with a relaxing feel. Great base for exploring nearby attractions. Karen, the owner, ensures everything is perfect.

The lodge was spacious and well-equipped, providing everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The host was fantastic and kept in touch throughout, making the whole experience enjoyable. The location was centrally located, making it easy to explore the nearby attractions such as Bamburgh and Alnwick.

There was no Wi-Fi available at the lodge, which could be inconvenient for some guests. the lack of a DVD player that was compatible with the TV was a letdown.

The Stags Lodge was fantastic value for money with a beautiful lodge, complete with luxury amenities and thoughtful touches. The location was peaceful, surrounded by lovely countryside, and the staff, especially Karen. A great base for exploring the North East coast.

The breakfast menu could benefit from a larger kitchen bin, but my dogs didn't mind as they got extra walks to the site's bins.
