The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, allowing us to check in early. The food was excellent, especially the home cooked cookies and the delicious breakfast options. The room was clean and comfortable, with a good shower and even a flask of fresh milk provided. The location in the quiet village was perfect, with the beautiful Byland Abbey nearby for history enthusiasts. we highly recommend this hotel and will definitely be returning in the future!

the room was superb, comfiest bed ever, and the food was beautiful - superb evening meal and excellent breakfast. exceeded my previous stay in wass. everything we needed close at hand, lovely and clean. staff were friendly and customer service faultless. hidden gem in a great location. we hope to return.

We had a very pleasant stay at The Stapylton Arms. The staff were friendly and always made time to chat with us. The meals, from lunch to dinner and breakfast, were excellent and cooked to order. The owners and staff made us feel welcome and took the time to provide us with useful local information. The location was also convenient, being just a short drive away from The Black Swan at Oldstead.
