I recently stayed at The Star in Great Yarmouth for a family visit. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the shops and a 15-minute stroll to the beach. The room was beautifully refurbished with a great view of the river. It was spotlessly clean and the staff at reception were friendly and welcoming. The breakfast had a wide variety of options and everything tasted delicious. I had a fantastic experience and I can't wait to return later this year.

As a woman traveling alone, I felt completely relaxed and safe throughout my stay at this beautiful hotel. The staff were friendly and professional, and the hotel had a welcoming ambience. The superior twin room I stayed in had a stunning view of the River Yare, and the beds were comfortable. The room and bathroom were both immaculately clean. Danny, one of the staff members, went above and beyond to ensure that myself and my elderly parents had a lovely bar meal, even setting up a table in the reception room when the restaurant was closed. The bar food was delicious, and the breakfast options were exceptional value for money with a wide range to choose from.

We had a pleasant stay for three nights. the refurbished twin bedroom was clean and had a nice view. the beds were comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. Despite the busy road outside, the noise wasn't too bothersome. the breakfast was delicious and served quickly, and the staff was friendly and welcoming.

The bathroom, although done to a high standard, felt a bit dangerous. It lacked a mat in the shower and a safety handle on the wall, making it difficult to get out without slipping.
