The cottage had a charming layout with a spacious living and dining area that was really comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped, which was a plus for us as we love cooking on holiday. The location was perfect, with Coniston just a short walk or drive away and other popular attractions like Windermere within easy reach. We also appreciated the selection of teas, coffee, and biscuits that were waiting for us upon arrival. The good Wi-Fi was a bonus, especially since phone signal was not very strong.

While there were many things we liked about the cottage, there were a couple of downsides. The entrance gateway was quite tight for our family sized car, which made parking a bit challenging.
