Veronica and Ian made us feel so welcome, and the personalized birthday surprise was a truly cherished memory. we will definitely be returning on our next visit to Blackpool.

We stayed at The Strathdon for 3 nights and it was perfect for our family holiday. The owners, Ian and Veronica, were friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with nice little touches like toiletries and a hairdryer. The breakfast was delicious, with a great variety of options. Ian and Veronica even went the extra mile by decorating a room for our friend's birthday and baking amazing cupcakes. We can't fault anything and would highly recommend this hotel.

I was pleasantly surprised to find a swan-shaped towel on the bed and dressing gowns in the cupboard. The ensuite bathroom was small but equipped with all the usual soaps and toiletries. Although I missed it due to an early train, the smell wafting from the dining area was enticing.
