We were delighted to find that the staff were welcoming and friendly throughout our visit, making us feel right at home. The rooms, although smaller compared to last time, exude character and charm, showcasing the historical roots of the building, probably from the Tudor period. Basic amenities were provided, including a variety of toiletries in the large bathroom and a comfortable bed, ensuring a restful night's sleep. Additionally, the breakfast was of a high quality, with a good variety of hot choices offered in the morning.

The only minor drawback, if any, was that the room temperature was a bit warm due to the hot weather. However, this didn't detract from our overall enjoyable experience at this hotel.

The staff, especially the lady with reddish hair and tattoos, were friendly and couldn't do enough for us. it was a fantastic stay in a characterful and well-located building.

During our romantic escape, we had an amazing experience. the room was clean and comfortable; we loved the attention to detail in the furnishings and decor. the continental breakfast, followed by a delicious hot breakfast, was impressive. the location was perfect for exploring the nearby attractions, which we thoroughly enjoyed.
