The location was ideal, as we were able to easily explore Salisbury and beyond to Plymouth, yet the rooms were blissfully quiet. The staff were so friendly and accommodating, especially when we needed to switch our room. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, with a variety of options to choose from. Plus, the inn is conveniently located near Stonehenge and Avebury Neolithic Rings, perfect for exploring the historic sites.

There were some minor maintenance issues in the ensuite bathroom. However, when we brought this to the attention of the management, they were very appreciative and promised to address the issues.

As guests with disabilities, we were impressed by the thoughtful fire emergency exit instructions given by the owner. The full English breakfast provided a fair amount of food for the price and the quick service was appreciated. The comfortable beds and pleasant room decor added to our overall comfort. It was also nice to have bottles of water in the room.

The quirky old property had beautifully furnished rooms and a welcoming bar filled with friendly locals and staff. The location was great, perfect for a stopover. The bed was comfortable and provided a good night's sleep. the hotel offered everything we needed for a pleasant one-night stay.

While the hotel could benefit from a fresh coat of paint, it didn't detract from our experience. Additionally, the bar service finished early on Sundays, so it's important to plan accordingly.

The location of the hotel is great as it is very close to all the big sites in the Salisbury area. Additionally, it is situated next to a river, providing a lovely view for guests. The staff was friendly and helpful throughout our Christmas stay, making us feel welcome. the starters and puddings for our meals were excellent and the breakfast was very nice. We particularly enjoyed the coffee served in lovely cups with saucers. the hotel had a large car park and was located next to the road, making it easy to access. the cosy and comfortable ensuite room provided toiletries, towels, tea, coffee, bottled water, and little packets of biscuits.

The noise from passing traffic outside the window was constant and very noisy, which made it hard to sleep. We couldn't open the window, despite the heat, because of the road noise and lack of air conditioning.
