The location of the hotel was convenient as it was near a very busy crossroads, making it easily accessible. The hotel had an attractive beer garden where guests could relax and enjoy the surroundings. the hotel was away from the festival, ensuring a more peaceful stay. The room was clean and spacious, with a comfortable bed. The staff were friendly and welcoming, providing excellent service. The breakfast was plentiful and well-cooked. the hotel offered a pleasant experience for guests.

There was a live band playing on Saturday night, causing noise disturbance for guests trying to sleep.

I recently spent Christmas at this hotel and there were a few things that I liked about my stay. the room I stayed in was beautifully furnished and clean, which made it a cozy and comfortable retreat during the festive season. Secondly, the staff were friendly and welcoming, which added a nice touch to the overall experience. Additionally, I appreciated the key location of the hotel, as it was conveniently situated near some local attractions and amenities.

There were a few aspects of my stay that I didn't enjoy. the service at the restaurant was quite slow, especially during busy periods like Christmas.

stayed in shepton mallet before but this city holiday at the inn exceeded expectations. the hotel team worked hard to make our stay enjoyable, from the spotless room to the delicious food. great ambiance, comfortable bed, and no road noise despite the location.

Camp bed for our toddler was uncomfortable.

I had a wonderful experience and would highly recommend this hotel.

I stayed at a beautiful cottage with a lovely ambiance. The staff at Thatched Cottage Inn were exceptional, always happy to help with directions or recommendations. Breakfast was delicious with a great variety of options available. The rooms were excellent and the facilities top-notch. The manager, Martin, went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. a fantastic base for exploring Somerset.

Had a great Xmas stay at this cozy cottage. The beautiful exterior and characterful interior with modern touches were a treat. The rooms were spacious with big comfy beds and high ceilings. , the wallpaper in my room was a delight! The food was delicious and cooked to order. The staff, especially the gentleman who checked me in, were lovely and made me feel welcomed and comfortable. the bathroom was spotless and the powerful shower was a definite highlight.

Just a couple of small things that could be improved. it would have been nice to have a valance sheet on the bed in my room to give it a more finished look.
