During my stay at a charming country inn, I experienced the joys of being surrounded by nature. Situated in a quiet area, I was able to unwind and enjoy the peacefulness of the countryside. The room was clean and comfortable, with instant hot water in the shower. The staff were friendly and accommodating, making me feel welcome throughout my stay. The breakfast was excellent, with generous portions to satisfy any appetite. I also appreciated the designated areas where dogs were not allowed, ensuring a peaceful environment for all guests.

I was disappointed to hear about the long waiting times for service at the bar, as mentioned in previous reviews.

We had a wonderful stay at a charming inn with friendly staff. the self-contained Duchy Suite provided ample space, comfortable beds, and a luxurious bath. the unique decoration and abundance of storage made it feel like a home away from home. the value for money was excellent, and the warm welcome after a long journey was much appreciated. If budget allowed, we would make this our regular base for visiting Devon. Highly recommended!

Thelbridge Cross Inn is a hidden gem in a very rural area. The location is perfect for those who want to escape the hustle and bustle of the city and enjoy the countryside. The rooms are nicely decorated, with attention to detail, and they even allow pets for an additional fee. The staff is friendly and the service is excellent. The basic amenities, including a good-sized shower in the en suite, are provided and the breakfast is included, making it great value for money. The hotel is in a quiet area but still conveniently located, allowing us to easily reach a nearby birthday party.

We are a family of 5 plus a dog, so it’s hard to find a place with one room for all of us. The Thelbridge was near enough to where we wanted to be and dog friendly, so we gave it a go. The staff were so friendly, the beer garden was great for our dog, and our room was amazing. All three of our boys had their own beds, plenty of space for our dog crate, we were actually blown away. The food was excellent, the owner was so friendly. We would come just for the pleasure of staying there again!
