The staff are friendly and helpful, ensuring a pleasant stay.

The lighting in the rooms is quite minimal, with only one ceiling light and two small lamps, making the room quite dark. there are not many plug sockets available, which can be inconvenient for charging phones and other devices.

Stayed at Thistle House during peak time. Neighbourhood was quiet and safe, with good bus connectivity. Clean towels and new bathroom features. Room had wardrobe, TV, and enough plugs. Admin contacted before arrival and bins emptied promptly. House was warm. Check-in process was easy. Private bathroom was clean. Toast, eggs, and cereal for breakfast. AJ, the caretaker, was friendly. a good value stay.

Quiet residential area, good value for money, plenty of parking, easily accessible to central Edinburgh, hot and powerful shower.

The coffee service in the room was a nice touch and the option to get more milk from the kitchen was convenient.

The heating in the room was not functioning properly, making it uncomfortable during the stay.
