The continental breakfast was perfectly adequate with a good selection of jams and marmalade. the coffee was hot and strong, just how we like it. the location of the hotel was great, as it served as a good starting point for visiting the coast. We also appreciated the supply of excellent shower gels and body lotion in the bathroom.

The bar area could also use some freshening up, as the ceiling was peeling.

I particularly appreciated the air-conditioning, which although not needed during my visit, would be a valuable feature in the summer months. Additionally, the location of the hotel was perfect for exploring the surrounding area and enjoying local walks. The availability of free car parking was also a convenient perk.

While my stay at The Thomas Lord was overall enjoyable, there were a few minor drawbacks. The service at mealtimes was slow, both for dinner and breakfast, with a wait of almost 50 minutes for our mains during dinner.

We had a wonderful stay at a lovely old pub with accommodation. the Thomas Lord, away from the main body of the pubs, provided a quiet and comfortable environment. the bar staff were friendly and very helpful, making our experience enjoyable. the breakfast was great, and the bed was so comfortable. We also appreciated the cleanliness and the free toiletries provided. we had a great experience and would consider staying here again.
