We had a fantastic stay in a lovely quiet location close to Cambridge. The hotel was in a beautiful village and provided a relaxing break. The cleanliness was excellent, and the staff were very helpful and welcoming. The breakfast was delicious and there were plenty of options to choose from. The hotel facilities were top-notch, with comfortable beds and a superb shower. We also appreciated the easy access to transportation, with St Ives nearby for catching a guided bus to Cambridge.

We had a wonderful stay at this guesthouse, located away from the busy road network and providing a peaceful escape. The room was spacious and the ensuite bathroom was amazing - we loved the large comfortable beds. The hosts were friendly and accommodating, making our stay truly memorable. The breakfast was delicious with fresh, cooked-to-order options. We also enjoyed wandering around the beautiful village and exploring the lovely river walks. The dedicated parking and quiet street were a bonus.

The service provided by the staff is very welcoming and helpful, ensuring a pleasant stay. Breakfast is included and served in a large comfy kitchen, with just the right amount of conversation. One detail that could be improved is the signage on the drive, but other than that, all was ok.

I recently stayed at a guesthouse in a charming village called Hemmingford Grey. The Thorpe Guesthouse provided a pleasant experience during my 6-week stay. The self-catered room, known as "The Doghouse," was well-equipped with a functional kitchenette, a comfortable bedroom, and a spacious bathroom. What stood out the most was the warm and friendly nature of the owners, Stuart and Niki. They went above and beyond to ensure my comfort, and the cooked breakfast they served every morning was a delightful highlight. Additionally, the location of the guesthouse was perfect, with the village offering excellent dining options, including a fantastic local restaurant called The Cock.
