The hotel is located in the city center, making it perfect for exploring all the attractions. The bright conservatory offers a lovely spot to relax and enjoy the surroundings. there is a bus stop right next to the hotel, providing easy access to downtown.

The hotel lacks adequate heating, leaving the rooms ice cold and uncomfortable.

I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. The location was excellent, with easy access to public transportation and beautiful gardens nearby. The staff were friendly and accommodating, making me feel welcomed throughout my stay. The rooms were well-maintained and the modern bathroom was a nice touch. great value for money.

Stayed over Easter in a bed and breakfast. They had secure car park and comfortable beds. Location of the place was perfect, easy transportation and a nice walk to the city center. Breakfast was good, we appreciated the variety of options.

The bathroom was not great and the shower gel and soap were not replenished daily. The packaging of certain products was not as expected.

We had a lovely short stay at The Thrums. The hotel has plenty of character and is easily accessible by bus or a scenic walk through The Meadows. The staff were pleasant and the hotel was very clean throughout. The modern bathroom was a great addition to our room, which was adequate for our needs. We especially loved the separate houses that were preserved, adding to the hotel's charm. Sherri at the desk provided exceptional customer service and made our stay even more enjoyable.

Breakfast was a steal at £9.50, considering the quality and quantity. The B&B was made up of two posh Georgian houses, and my room was tastefully decorated to impress.

I just loved how the Wi-Fi only worked in public areas, because who needs internet in their own room anyway?

We loved how close the hotel was to the Old City of Edinburgh, only a short walk away. The location was perfect, with plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. The room was spacious and well-decorated, with beautiful period features. The bathroom had a great, hot shower and was also very clean. The staff were friendly and helpful, making our stay enjoyable. The hotel had secure on-site parking, which was a bonus.
