As a devoted traveler, my midweek summer holiday stay at the Tontine Hotel & Bar in Ironbridge with my 1.5 yr old twins was absolutely delightful. the hotel's prime location opposite the iconic Iron Bridge added to its charm, making exploring the nearby Ironbridge Gorge Museums, Broseley Pipeworks, and Enginuity a breeze. the historical ambiance and attentive staff enhanced our family bonding while the cozy rooms and delicious breakfast added to our relaxation. I appreciated the new owners' dedication to preserving the area's traditions.

Lovely overnight stay at the Tontine, perfect for a riverside walk and village exploration. Exemplary service and a delicious, huge breakfast. Room renovations ongoing; some completed to a superb standard. Friendly host Steve and fantastic food from Cameron. Carly went above and beyond.

Complemented by a generous breakfast, the spacious room boasted modern amenities such as a large TV and a luxurious bath, creating a comfortable retreat after exploring the area's shops and restaurants.

Among the ongoing upgrades, power outages briefly interrupted our morning routine.

Our room at The Tontine Hotel & Bar was recently refurbished and had a quiet atmosphere. The location was great, right opposite the bridge and close to shops, bars, and restaurants. The owner, Steve, was friendly and welcoming. The bed was very comfortable and the bath towels were soft and a good size. We also loved the view from Room 6, overlooking the bridge. We wish the new owners success and would recommend this hotel.

The location of The Tontine is unbeatable, right across from the iconic and world-famous bridge. The staff are friendly and helpful. The hotel is currently being renovated, and our room was fantastic, spacious, clean, and comfortable. The restaurant served delicious food, and the breakfast options were good. Families with two small kids will find the hotel suitable for their needs.

Felt like a home away from home, no reason to complain.

This hotel is a hidden gem in the heart of a charming World Heritage site town. The location is unbeatable, practically on top of the bridge itself, with breathtaking views right from your window. The staff is friendly and welcoming, making you feel at home from the moment you arrive. The rooms are comfortable with a great attention to detail and a comfortable bed. And let's not forget the bar downstairs, perfect for a relaxing evening after exploring the town. Oh, and the breakfast with a view straight across the bridge is simply delightful.

Just loved having to park half a mile away. Such a fun start to my stay!
