The location of the hotel is great, as it is close to the seafront and the harbor where you can find many good restaurants. The rooms are beautifully decorated and spacious, with attractive decor. The bathrooms are clean and well-appointed, with powerful showers and some even have baths. The service provided by the owners is outstanding, as they are friendly and welcoming. The breakfast menu offers a wide variety of options, including continental choices and homecooked food.

Some rooms may not have a view, but this is a minor inconvenience considering the other positive aspects of the hotel.

We absolutely loved our stay at this luxurious hotel! The location was perfect, just a short 5-minute walk from the stunning seafront and within easy access of the city center. The fact that it was nestled on the hills of Torquay in such a nice area made it even more special. The service was top-notch, with the staff going above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with a warm welcome drink and the room amenities were fantastic. We had everything we needed, from ironing facilities to tea and coffee facilities, and the sitting area provided a cozy space to relax. The terrace with garden furniture was a lovely spot to enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning, and the free toiletries and electric kettle were a nice touch. In addition, the flat-screen TV and comfortable beds ensured a great night's sleep. The continental breakfast served in the bar/lounge area was delicious and the staff catered to our dietary needs. the service, location, and amenities of this hotel made our stay truly enjoyable.

Had a great Easter weekend at this hotel. Really enjoyed the personalized service from the owners who offered a glass of Proceco upon arrival and a very good selection for breakfast. the location was perfect, with quick access to the beach and plenty of dining options nearby. Our favorite was the little bar on-site where we relaxed with a drink after an adventurous day.

The weather wasn't in our favor, but we can't blame the hotel for that. we had a fantastic time and would recommend this hotel to others looking for a comfortable stay in a prime location.

Our bedroom had a balcony with a stunning sea view, and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was clean and well-appointed, with luxurious shower products. The breakfast room was open and bright, serving a delicious continental and full English breakfast. our stay at The Torcroft was a real pleasure.

There were a few minor issues, such as a chipped mug and a bathroom that didn't drain properly. The entrance hall felt a bit dark, and the girl who greeted us wasn't dressed smartly.

We stayed at The Torcroft for 5 nights and it was the best stay we’ve experienced in the south west of England. The hosts, Phillip and Gary, were incredibly helpful and thoughtful, going above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. The rooms were beautifully decorated with attention to detail and the breakfasts were amazing. The property had stunning modern features while maintaining its original charm. It was the most relaxed atmosphere we've ever experienced away from home. We can't wait to return.
