I had a fantastic stay here after a long hike. The room was comfortable with a nice view of the countryside. The pub had an interesting collection of photo memorabilia, and the staff were friendly and helpful. I will definitely come back when I'm in the area.

Can honestly say, there wasn't anything not to like.

The hotel offered a convenient location with easy access to public transportation and nearby restaurants. the room was well-maintained and spacious, providing me with a comfortable night's sleep.

There was limited vegetarian options for breakfast and dinner. the noise from nearby traffic was audible from the room and slightly disruptive.

Friendly staff, excellent meals, and a quirky atmosphere. Wheelchair-friendly room was a great option. Beautiful rural setting and delicious breakfast. Definitely worth a return visit.

Friendly staff and helpful. Good-sized room with plenty of tea tray supplies. Great location for touring the area on a motorcycle. Comfy and clean room with daily fresh apples, biscuits, and chocolates. Excellent cooked breakfast and attentive staff. Highly recommended.

The breakfast was delicious, with a variety of options to choose from. a fantastic stay that I would highly recommend.

I had a great stay at the Trooper Inn. After a long hike, I enjoyed a fantastic soak in the room's bath. the comfortable room had a nice view of the surrounding countryside. the pub had a lovely beer garden and interesting photo memorabilia on display. the limited menu was delicious, and the staff were friendly and helpful. I will definitely stay here again when hiking in the area.

The warm welcome from the staff made our stay at Trooper Inn truly memorable. When we had trouble finding a taxi, the kind-hearted daughter and her father went above and beyond to ensure we made it to the train station on time. Their generosity saved us from being late for work, and we are forever grateful. The room and bathroom were impeccably clean, the bed was cozy, and the shower had great water pressure. The delicious fish & chips dinner was a highlight, and we loved the beautiful gardens. we had a peaceful and enjoyable overnight stay.

There was no hot water early in the evening for a bath, and the lack of backed chairs outside made it uncomfortable for elderly or disabled guests. Additionally, the location was a bit confusing for my satnav.

I recently stayed at The Trooper Inn for a weekend getaway. The food was delicious, with a small but perfectly cooked menu. The staff were excellent, being very helpful and attentive. I loved the separate entrance for staying guests, and the bar was definitely worth a visit. The owner was welcoming and made our stay very pleasurable. The room was lovely, with an extra wide and comfortable bed.
