I had a wonderful time at Victoria in Canterbury. The location was a bit of a walk from the town center, but the beautiful garden made up for it. The communal areas were clean and tidy, and the staff were generally pleasant. The breakfast, although a bit poor with bread still in their bags, was delicious. I particularly enjoyed the lovely atmosphere and the small family business feel of the hotel. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Great location, just a short 10-minute walk from Canterbury's city center. The front desk staff was helpful and friendly. The bed was very comfortable. They provided a plentiful supply of free coffee/tea and biscuits. The bathroom was spacious and the TV had plenty of channels to choose from.

One minor drawback was that the bathroom taps did not provide cold water, making it difficult for drinking and potentially raising concerns about the risk of legionella.

Our business trip was really convenient thanks to the two complementary services the hotel offered: a shuttle to the city center and a rich breakfast. the location was also ideal, close enough to the city to get there easily, but far enough away to enjoy some peace and quiet. Another great aspect was the comfortable beds, we enjoyed a great night's sleep.

While the food tasted alright, the roast potatoes were clearly reheated from lunch and were far from fresh. some dishes were empty and took too long to be replenished.

We had a superb stay at Victoria. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating, especially Simon the manager. The bed was comfortable and we were pleasantly surprised by the fresh fruit at breakfast. The meals in the restaurant were large and delicious. The hotel's location in the beautiful historic area made our visit even more enjoyable. I would highly recommend this hotel.

As bike riders, we loved the convenient location for exploring nearby attractions like Canterbury, Whitstable, Margate, and Dover.
