Had a great stay at the Waverley Hotel! Our room was small, but the bed was incredibly comfortable. The staff were friendly and couldn't do enough to make us feel welcome. We enjoyed a delicious dinner in the restaurant, and the breakfasts were amazing. The live band in the bar on Saturday night was a highlight. Despite a few minor faults like squeaky floors and slow Wi-Fi, we had a relaxing weekend and would definitely visit again. Highly recommended!

The hotel is centrally located, right on the main street, with plenty of shops, cafes, and amenities nearby. the room was clean and comfortable, with a good-sized bathroom. the staff were friendly and welcoming, making us feel at home. the breakfast was excellent, with a choice of local produce cooked to perfection. the hotel also had a nice pub, and on the Friday night, there was great entertainment with live music.

If you are a light sleeper, it is best to request a room at the back of the hotel, as the rooms facing the main road can be a bit noisy at night due to the traffic. the wi-fi was a bit unreliable, but the TV worked well.

We had a lovely romantic escape to this hotel. the location was ideal, with plenty of on-street parking available nearby. the room was basic but clean and comfortable, with everything we needed, and we appreciated the included breakfast. the highlight of our stay was the delicious food, which had a great selection to choose from and was served promptly.

We were not able to fully enjoy our stay due to the loud noise from the live band at night. It was so loud that it was difficult to sleep, which affected our overall experience.

We always feel welcomed at The Waverley, with the staff recognizing us from previous visits. The rooms are lovely, and the breakfast and dinner are absolutely brilliant. The hotel's central location makes shopping at the nearby Co-op supermarket very convenient. The high ceilings in the spacious rooms add to the charm of the older building. The staff was accommodating to our needs, providing an extra adjoining room for our baby. The friendly atmosphere in the pub and the comfortable bed made our stay enjoyable. The meals were spot on, and all the staff were very helpful.

We had a fantastic time staying at this hotel in the heart of the town. The location is perfect, right in the centre of the main street, close to shops, bars, and restaurants. Our room was clean and comfortable, with two large windows overlooking the bustling street. The staff were friendly and accommodating, making us feel welcome throughout our stay. The breakfast and dinner at the on-site restaurant were delicious, with generous portions. We also loved that they provided secure storage for our bicycles. it was a great experience.

The noise from the nearby road could be bothersome at times.
