Stayed for Easter and found the room really nice, and the bed was very comfortable. A nice touch was the cafetiere in the room, so had fresh coffee every morning, and the fresh milk delivery service was excellent. Location was great - numerous walks available, and exploring the nearby town was enjoyable. the included breakfast was one of the best full english breakfast we’ve ever had - fantastic products and the selection was just perfect.

The downside is that the room was a bit small and there was no privacy. There was only one small window with a view of the street and the bed facing the door so had to keep the curtains drawn for privacy.

Lovely stay, nice atmosphere, and excellent service. the staff were very attentive and courteous, making us feel well taken care of. the draught ales were of excellent quality, and the breakfast was delicious. We also loved the beautiful views from the restaurant and the clean and lovely décor of the hotel.

The road noise was excessive, especially for rooms situated at the front of the hotel. It can be a bit bothersome for light sleepers.

We absolutely loved our stay at this hotel! The best aspects were the stunning views, peaceful location, and friendly staff. We enjoyed waking up to the breathtaking South Downs views and indulging in a delicious breakfast. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay. The hotel facilities were top-notch, and the cleanliness of the rooms was impeccable. We also appreciated the convenient parking right next to our room. This hotel provided the perfect getaway for a relaxed and enjoyable break.

The cleanliness of our room was excellent, with a comfortable bed and a well-stocked refreshments tray. The breakfast included in the price was one of the best full English we've ever had, with fantastic products and delicious bread and black pudding.

We had a wonderful time at the bed and breakfast. The food at the restaurant was absolutely delicious and we enjoyed the lovely views from the dining room. Despite the small room, we appreciated being able to bring our dog along with us. The surrounding area offered great walks through forests, ancient roads, and charming villages.

The lack of toiletries in the rooms is disappointing.

The only drawback I encountered was that the door to my room was ill fitting and allowed noise from the nearby A283 to enter. Additionally, the room was situated next to a plant room, which resulted in constant disturbances from the various noises it produced throughout the night.
