I recently stayed at Wellington House Hotel for a weekend getaway with my family. The hotel exceeded our expectations in many ways. It was clean and well-maintained, with nicely decorated rooms that had all the basic facilities we needed. The staff were incredibly polite, engaging, and went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. The hotel's location was perfect, just a short walk from Central Pier, making it convenient for exploring the area. Additionally, there was parking available nearby. We especially loved the friendly and welcoming bar area, where we could unwind after a day of sightseeing. We will definitely be returning to this fantastic hotel on our next visit.

I recently stayed at a hotel that had a fantastic location, just a couple of minutes walk from the beautiful seafront. The cleanliness of the hotel truly impressed me, from the reception, to the bar area, to my room. The fresh smell throughout was a pleasant surprise. The staff were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to assist me during my stay. I would highly recommend this hotel and wouldn't hesitate to return in the future. I had a great experience and would definitely recommend this hotel to others.

The hotel is in a great location, just a couple of minutes walk from the seafront and central pier. It's also not far from a good selection of arcades, perfect for some entertainment. The beach is very close, making it convenient for a day out in the sun. The hotel facilities are excellent, with a comfortable garden where you can relax. The cleanliness of the hotel is impeccable, from the reception area to the rooms. The staff are friendly and helpful, making the overall experience even better.

I gotta say, we got some serious bang for our buck at The Wellington House. The room was clean and perfect for our family of four, and we even had a nice view of the sea. Plus, the location couldn't be better, so central and close to everything. The staff treated us like family, super welcoming and accommodating.

Breakfast delights could use a little more variety.

Ideal location, friendly staff, clean and spacious rooms, great bar and lounge area, helpful owner.

All was perfect.

Lovely clean room, but the shower door didn't close properly. The bathroom had hair everywhere, even on the clean towel. The window was huge but impossible to see through. The TV was tiny and high up on the wall. No staff presence until after 6pm. However, overall I would recommend this hotel.

Lovely decor, clean rooms, comfy beds, and great facilities including a kettle, iron, and fan. Close to the seaside and other attractions. Friendly hosts.

We had a quick look around the hotel bar & pool area and cannot fault this property, absolute immaculate. Location wise, absolutely perfect, ideally situated just back from central pier. Our room was amazing for a family, perfect for me, my partner, and 3 kids. Staff were lovely and helpful. Would definitely recommend.

We had an excellent stay at Wellington House previously and decided to book again. The staff were apologetic and professional when our shower broke, upgrading us to stunning apartments. The place was clean and well-stocked. The hosts were fantastic and welcoming. The location couldn't be better. We will definitely be back. Thanks!

The location was perfect, close to attractions and tram access. Room had everything we needed, clean and comfortable. Bar was modern with a great selection of drinks. Laura behind the bar was fabulous.

Not one thing.

We loved that we had a ground floor room, perfect for our needs with a pram and an amputee partner. Being able to easily access the smoking area while still keeping an eye on our children was a bonus. The hotel's location was fantastic, right next to the central pier and very close to the promenade. The friendly staff were always willing to help and made our stay enjoyable. The cleanliness of the hotel was generally good, and the fair price we paid for our stay was worth it. We would definitely consider staying here again.

We loved the warm welcome and excellent service from the owners and staff. The hotel was spotlessly clean and the rooms were excellent, with daily cleaning and fresh towels. The owners and staff took the time to sit and chat with us, making us feel really welcome. The beautiful beer garden was a great place to relax after a day out, and we felt safe with the pool table and darts area for the kids. The breakfast was great value for money and tasted delicious.

We felt so welcome during our stay that we have no complaints.
