Excellent service, thoughtful birthday surprise in room. Pet-friendly suite with comfortable beds. Beautiful modern interior in old buildings. Limited space in room, but still slept well. Delicious breakfast options and friendly staff.

stayed in leyburn before but wensleydale heifer topped it all. amazing breakfast choices, sherry & cake in room, friendly staff, and yorkshire people are so kind. dinner was outstanding with fantastic service, lovely atmosphere, and lucy pittaway artwork. dining room is a must. overall, couldn't ask for a better experience.

I absolutely loved the evening 3 course meal at The Wensleydale Heifer. The starter was outstanding, and the overall dining experience was one of the best in my life. The Four Poster room was delightful, with extra touches like sherry, a spa bath, and homemade chocolates that truly enhanced the stay. The staff at the hotel were incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. I cannot wait to return to this wonderful place.

As youngsters, we loved the extra touches in the room like sherry, fruit, and water. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The food was delicious, especially for the early diner, which was an absolute bargain. The whiskey-themed room was a highlight, complete with a generous tot of whiskey in a hip flask.
