The room I was assigned was located directly above the kitchen, resulting in significant noise at 6.30am after a late night. This disrupted my sleep and detracted from an otherwise enjoyable stay.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The rooms were nice, with a small view of the countryside. The staff were very friendly and helpful, providing us with printed directions to nearby places of interest. Breakfast was excellent, with plenty of choice. The hotel is in the centre of a pretty village and there is parking available. We also noticed that the hotel was quite busy with tractors, horses, cars, dog walkers, and hikers in the garden and sunroom.

The hotel's dog-friendly policy was a plus, allowing us to bring our furry friend along and also enjoy the full menu options. a wonderful experience!
