The room we stayed in was spacious and had a large bathroom, which was a pleasant surprise. We appreciated the cleanliness and the abundance of tea, coffee, and biscuits. The evening meal was delicious, even with the restaurant being busy, and the staff were attentive. Breakfast was also enjoyable with a good variety of options. The location of the pub/hotel was great as well, making it convenient for exploring the area. our stay at Marston's Inns was excellent value for money.

The only drawback we experienced was the limited seating options for guests outside of the bar/eatery area. It would have been nice to have a separate space to relax after being out, aside from our bedroom.

I had a wonderful stay at the Wheatsheaf pub/hotel. The room I was given was incredibly spacious, with a huge adjoining bathroom. I was even granted a room that required minimal walking, which was perfect for me. The cleanliness of the room was top-notch, and I appreciated the warmth and the ample supply of tea, coffee, and biscuits. The mugs provided were large and properly sized. The evening meal in the restaurant was delicious and filling, despite the busy crowd. The attentive staff made the experience even better. Breakfast was a delight, with plenty of cereal and juice choices. The pastries were flaky and fresh, and the cooked breakfast was just the right amount. I must also mention the comfortable bed and clean linen, which added to the overall positive experience.

While the bedroom was clean, it did appear a bit scruffy. The secondary double glazing rattled when large vehicles passed by, causing a minor disturbance.

The food at Wheatsheaf was outstanding, especially the sweet potato chips. We loved relaxing in the beer garden under the sunny skies. The proximity to Chatsworth house was excellent, as we could easily walk there. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, making our stay even more enjoyable. Despite a few minor issues, overall we had a great experience.

The room could use some redecorating, with peeling wallpaper and a cracked door frame. The bathroom had moldy grout in the shower area, and the noise from the neighboring room's bathroom fan was disruptive at night.

The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with well-equipped bathrooms. The customer service is excellent, with attentive and friendly staff. The breakfast is delicious, offering a variety of options to suit all tastes.

The outside fairy lights in the garden were not turned on during the evening, which was a disappointment for those looking forward to enjoying the beautiful garden in all its splendor.
