The bed was incredibly comfortable, like sleeping on a cloud. the room was clean and tidy, with fresh towels and robes provided. the location was ideal, surrounded by beautiful countryside and offering a peaceful atmosphere. Plus, the friendly waitstaff made our stay even better.

The stairs leading to our room were steep and difficult to navigate, especially after a couple of drinks. we found the food in the restaurant to be overpriced, and paying £11 for a double gin and tonic felt excessive.

The slight unkept appearance of the property, with some storage items in the back. Additionally, the presence of dog feces on the grass was a bit off-putting.

We loved the beautiful views and the incredible food at The Wheatsheaf Combe Hay. The dinner and breakfast were both amazing, with a great selection. The owner even upgraded our wine for the same price. The walks were lovely and we enjoyed the company of the sweet dogs. The environment was relaxed and the bed was the best we've slept in for a long time. The easy access to Bath was a bonus. The warm welcome, complimentary drinks, fresh milk, and homemade cookies made us feel right at home. The great wifi was a plus too.
