Had a great time during my Christmas stay. the hotel had an amazing log fire which created a cozy atmosphere to relax. the room was spacious with a nice en suite shower. the staff was friendly and welcoming, making us feel at home. the location was perfect, near a football pitch and with great views of the village. the dinner was fantastic, they had a local menu with fresh products, and the breakfast was amazing; we had a traditional Scottish breakfast, which was outstanding.

That the double bed was a bit small and didn't meet our expectations.

The room was cozy and immaculately clean, with a comfortable bed and modern amenities like a flat-screen TV and tea/coffee facilities. The Wheatsheaf Hotel And Restaurant is a fantastic place for a weekend break. The location is superb, right down the Main Street, with a charming view of the village green. The rooms are clean, cosy, and well-equipped, making you feel right at home. The staff goes above and beyond to ensure your safety and comfort. The meals in the restaurant are of excellent quality, with locally sourced ingredients. The breakfast options are varied and delicious. I especially enjoyed dining in the attractive conservatory. I can't wait to return to this gem in the near future.
