We had a fantastic stay at White Hart. The breakfast was delicious, the location was excellent, and the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. The hotel is conveniently situated near great beaches and Dartmoor, and there are plenty of dining options nearby, including a fantastic Indian/Nepalese restaurant and a cozy pub. The room was spacious and clean, and we appreciated the provided bathrobes and toiletries. The owner, Chris, cooked amazing meals and gave us great recommendations for local attractions. We will definitely be staying here again!

Had an absolutely lovely Christmas stay at this hotel. the staff were super friendly and welcoming. They made us feel like family and it was a really nice touch. the location was fantastic. It was right in the heart of everything we wanted to see and do, so we didn't have to worry about travelling too far. And finally, the rooms were just perfect.

I have to say that there were a few things that let the hotel down. the breakfast was a bit disappointing.

Great quality ingredients used for breakfast and dinner.

We were pleasantly surprised by the White Hart. the location, right on the main street, made it easy to find and explore the town. Our room was spacious enough for us and our two dogs. Plus, there was a convenient walking path just a short distance behind the hotel. We also enjoyed having a restaurant on-site for breakfast and dinner. the staff were friendly and welcoming, which added to our enjoyable stay.

During my Christmas stay, I really enjoyed the newly decorated rooms with their rustic countryside elegance. the comfy bed provided a good night's sleep, and the amazing rain shower was a delightful treat. I also appreciated the little touches such as the touch lamps, coffee machine, and charming animal-themed decor items. the restaurant downstairs was a highlight, as the chef's cooking was truly sublime. I left the hotel a few pounds heavier but completely satisfied.

It would have been helpful to know this beforehand. Lastly, I found the bedding to be not very warm, which was a bit uncomfortable during the colder nights.

We stayed at The White Hart for a weekend getaway and had a fantastic time. The staff were attentive and friendly, and our room was beautifully decorated and clean. The location was central for the places we wanted to visit, and we enjoyed tasty and sufficient breakfasts. The food at the hotel and the nearby Indian/Nepalese restaurant was delicious, and we also loved the great pub food and real ale at Exeter Inn. a lovely place to stay!
