The staff were welcoming and helpful, making us feel at home. The breakfast provided was delicious and satisfying. The inn also had fast and free WIFI.

The bathroom could have been cleaner and better maintained.

Incredible effort to keep the business running smoothly. 1st class food, superb breakfast with local produce. Spotlessly clean rooms, comfortable beds, and complimentary 100% wi-fi. We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The cleanliness of the room was impressive, with only a few cobwebs being the minor exception. The hotel facilities were great, with good wifi service in the room and a bar that brewed its own excellent ale. The location of the hotel was perfect, with a footpath right opposite the side entrance that led to a beautiful countryside setting. The staff were friendly, attentive, and always available to help.

Had a warm welcome at a lovely country pub with clean and well-equipped rooms. Enjoyed a delicious meal and excellent service. The breakfast was also superb. Will definitely return!

The hotel had a good selection of beers on tap and the staff were warm and welcoming. the food served at dinner was absolutely delicious and exceeded my expectations for a pub. the breakfast was also amazing and included in the reasonable price of the room.

The rooms were in need of some work. There was no bin in the room and the bathroom could use a refurbishment.

The hotel was exactly what I was after for a rather sensible and "grown-up" stag weekend. The cleanliness was impeccable, and the hotel facilities were top-notch. I had a fantastic two-night stay at the White Hart Inn in Newbury. The room was spacious with an excellent shower, and the staff were incredibly helpful, especially when I arrived late on Friday. The food at the restaurant was outstanding, and any issues that arose were promptly resolved. The staff even arranged for croissants for our early morning departure. I was very impressed with my stay and would highly recommend this hotel to others.

Great food and friendly staff made our stay enjoyable. the location was spot on, with lots of things to do nearby and easy access to public transport. We also appreciated the spacious rooms and the fact that there were additional tea and coffee-making facilities. A true advantage was the delicious breakfast with lots of variety to choose from.
