We had a fantastic Saturday evening meal with friends at the White Horse Inn. The warm welcome and excellent service made us feel right at home. The bread, olives, and hummus appetizer was a delicious start, with the bread having a fabulous crust. The confit of duck, chicken, and leek and cheddar tart were all incredibly tasty. The accompanying salad was fresh and paired perfectly. Although we couldn't manage dessert, the menu had tempting options. we highly recommend this place for a meal.

The restaurant and excellent bar, along with a car park just a few steps away from the rooms, make it convenient for guests. We stayed at a cozy inn over New Year's and had a great time. the food was excellent and the staff were lovely, even helping us plan a hike in the nearby hills. the location was ideal for exploring the surrounding countryside and we liked the fact that we could easily access other nearby towns for day trips. We particularly enjoyed the cozy atmosphere of the pub, which had a roaring fire and friendly regulars.

Some aspects of our stay left something to be desired. the room we were given was quite small and could have been cleaner.

While the room was small, it was well-appointed and suited our weekend stay perfectly. However, for longer stays, it might feel a bit cramped.

The rooms were clean and the towels were fluffy white. the service was superb, with the staff going above and beyond to accommodate our needs. Reasonable rates and good breakfast options were also a plus.

the pub itself was brilliant, very comfortable. the homemade pie was a winner, and the bed was so comfy. If I'm ever in that area again, I will definitely stay at the White Horse Inn. I've already recommended it to my friends. Just brilliant.
