I was pleasantly surprised by the attention to detail at this hotel. From the prices to the basic amenities, everything is well thought out and provided for. The location of the hotel is perfect, within walking distance of a great pub and a fantastic Italian restaurant. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with large beds that ensure a good night's sleep. The hot powerful shower was a great bonus. The breakfast at this hotel was delicious, with really good bread and an excellent selection of home made jams.

All was just as we expected, a truly enjoyable stay.

Our stay at The White House was fantastic! We were warmly greeted by Mike, who was friendly yet professional. The rooms were lovely and well-maintained, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. The breakfast was delicious, especially the scrambled eggs. The owners were extremely accommodating, meeting our requests for a downstairs room and giving us garden access for our dog. We had a lovely time at White House Bed & Breakfast. Mike and Sue were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making our stay comfortable and enjoyable. the room was clean, fresh, and had everything we needed. We especially loved the little touches like the freely available cake and cold drinks in the breakfast room. the breakfast itself was tasty and generous. the peaceful location and beautiful garden added to the overall relaxing experience. the nearby George pub was a great option for dinner.

Despite the snug size, the bathroom was clean and stocked with lovely towels. the highlight was the beautiful garden, perfect for relaxation. Breakfast was a delightful experience with a great variety served in a pretty fashion. the owners, Mike and Sue, were warm and hospitable, offering us hot tea and delicious cheese scones upon arrival. They even generously offered their private phone when we had a problem at home. the charm, hospitality, and English allure of the White House made it a truly dreamy stay. We would gladly return in a heartbeat.

One minor issue was that the TV went pink, but the owners were quick to address it and I'm sure it won't be a problem for future guests. It would have been nice to have a fan in the room during the heatwave, but it didn't take away from the overall positive experience.

Loved the breakfast and the beautiful view from the room. the bed was very comfortable, and the room was very spacious. We appreciated the free parking and fast Wi-Fi connection.
