I recently stayed at The White Lion for a short getaway and was thoroughly impressed. The newly furnished bedrooms were clean and fresh, with a very comfortable bed and a refreshing walk-in shower. The coffee made from the pod-type coffee maker was delicious. The highlight was the superb White Lion Breakfast, cooked with tasty local produce. The staff were incredibly helpful and accommodating, even under pressure. I had a fantastic experience and have already recommended this hotel to friends.

We had a fantastic stay with our group of friends at this lovely inn. The newly decorated bedrooms and bathrooms were beautiful, with comfortable beds and excellent showers. The friendly staff were extremely helpful and the tasty dinner and breakfast were a delight. The inn's location was very convenient, and the rooms were nice and comfy. We couldn't fault the staff at all - they were sympathetic and tried to help with any issues we had. a great experience for our group of friends.

The breakfast option could be improved by including coffee and milk with the kettle in the room. Additionally, it would have been nice to have an explanation from the staff when we were moved to a different dining area for dinner, as it felt like a slight downgrade without any context.

my recent golf trip to ventnor was made even better thanks to a fantastic stay at the white lion. the spacious and quiet room had thoughtful additions like a coffee machine and fan. the staff were incredibly friendly and the breakfast was excellent. nothing was too much trouble for them.

We stayed here for a couple of days on our mini moon. The rooms were spotless with lots of little extra touches. The bedding felt very good quality. The breakfast selection was amazing and nothing was too much trouble. The food in the pub was faultless and the service was impeccable. All the staff were very welcoming and accommodating. We would definitely recommend this place to friends and plan to stay again when we visit the Isle of Wight.

The room was immaculate and the shower was a fancy rainfall shower that was so nice, considering mine at home requires me to run around in circles to get my hair washed.

I had to ask to move rooms when I arrived as the aircon unit outside the window was noisy. Also, the windows in both rooms didn't close properly.
