The decor was dated but pleasant, with a comfortable room and a good power shower. Nevertheless, the hotel rooms were neglected, with dirty curtains and mold in the shower. The noise level from the main road was high, and the cooked breakfast option was lacking. Despite these drawbacks, the staff were approachable, the room was spacious and cozy, and the evening meal was of good quality. the stay was marred by barely edible food, a noisy and uncomfortable room, and a disappointing breakfast spread. The only saving grace was the hotel's convenient location next to the M6.
