During my recent stay at Thistle Express, I was impressed with the helpfulness of the staff. They went out of their way to make my stay comfortable, especially when it came to accommodating my limited mobility. The front desk staff, particularly Vanessa and Annabelle, were exceptional in assisting me. I truly appreciated their efforts.

Although there were some minor drawbacks, such as the lack of air conditioning and the noise from the street, these factors did not significantly impact my overall experience at Thistle Express.

The hotel has a great location, being close to the station and right near the bus station. It is also very near the Wyvern theatre, which was convenient for us as we were going to a concert there later that evening. The room we stayed in was large, clean, and comfortable, with a lovely big smart TV. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast provided was very good.

The hotel does not accept cash as a form of payment, which may be inconvenient for some guests.

During our Thanksgiving stay, we loved the convenient location of the hotel, close to shopping and dining options as well as transportation. the breakfast had a good variety of options and we especially enjoyed the unlimited supply of hot drinks available in the reception area day and night. the comforting and comfortable mattress was an added bonus, perfect for a good night's sleep.

The lack of tea and coffee making facilities in the room was a slight inconvenience and the small size of the bathroom would not be suitable for those with mobility or toileting difficulties. However, the polite and helpful staff were able to address any concerns quickly.

The room was nicely decorated, with lots of power points near the bed. Comfy bed. Lovely, helpful staff. Stylish, modern room with fabulous view. Central location.

The hotel is conveniently located in the heart of the city, close to all the shops and restaurants in the bustling city center. it is situated in a quiet area, ensuring a peaceful stay for guests. the hotel is next to a shopping center, making it easy to indulge in some retail therapy during your stay.

The noise from other guests in adjacent rooms can sometimes disrupt the tranquility of your stay.

The hotel is great value for money with basic amenities, free breakfast, and wifi. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The location is convenient with a short drive to the Outlet. The TV in the room was a nice touch.

Breakfast options were limited but still refreshed regularly with cooked items including bacon, sausage, and scrambled eggs.

There were a couple of downsides to my experience. there were no tea making facilities in the room, so I had to go all the way to reception every time I wanted a hot drink.

The hotel is in a great location, right in the city centre and not far from the train station. The room was comfortable with a lovely warm bed. The staff were friendly and helpful, providing excellent service. The buffet breakfast was outstanding, with a wide variety of choices and fresh ingredients. The room had plenty of plug points, a large bed, and was clean.

The bathroom was quite small.

The rooms were well equipped with iron, ironing board, and free safe. 24-hour tea, coffee, and hot chocolate were available in the lobby.

Felt like a VIP, no complaints whatsoever.
