Great location with beautiful scenery and plenty of activities to enjoy. the accommodation was clean and tidy, and the modern facilities added a touch of luxury. the information provided about local walks was very helpful, and I particularly enjoyed the one through Sheriff Wood.

The dining options in the area were not up to par. the chicken tikka from the Prince of India curry house was probably the worst I have ever had.

The room facilities were average and could have been better. However, the location was excellent, close to many restaurants and shops. the staff was helpful and polite. One of the best things was that the room was clean and tidy.

It felt rushed and the food was not cooked to my liking. the parking was a bit problematic and not easily accessible.

The hosts were exceptional and provided us with excellent service throughout our stay. They even gave us helpful advice on local attractions and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. we had a wonderful time at Thornbank House.
