We recently stayed at Thornbury in Burnham-on-Sea for a short weekend getaway. The room, although small, was incredibly comfortable and impeccably clean. The friendly lady who greeted us made us feel instantly welcomed. We chose not to have breakfast, but the hosts were accommodating and made sure we had everything we needed. The location was also convenient for exploring the surrounding area.

The location of the accommodation is fantastic, as it is very close to both the town centre and the beach. Guests mentioned that it was just a short walk to the seafront, allowing for easy access to the beach. The rooms were mentioned to be clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated, with lovely bedding and a garden view. Guests also appreciated the helpfulness of the owner, who provided fans and cooler bedding during a heat wave.

One minor negative aspect mentioned by a guest was that the ensuite bathroom was small, and it took some time to get used to the noise from the macerator.

We had the best stay at this B&B! the family room was absolutely spotless - not a single mark on the wallpaper. the bed was incredibly comfortable, giving us two nights of amazing sleep. the hosts were so attentive and made sure we had a satisfying breakfast. They even allowed us to have take-away meals in our room. the attention to detail was impressive, with the room and finish looking brand new. the carpet was so plush that our feet sank into it. We couldn't have asked for better service and would definitely return without hesitation.

There was a lack of privacy in the room, as the bathroom was shared and located across the hallway. This meant having to leave the room and cross through the reception area, which was inconvenient and not ideal for privacy.

The room had a private en-suite with clean towels. The location was great and quiet at night, ensuring a peaceful stay. The beds were comfy and the overall standard of cleanliness was high. The hosts made us feel at home and breakfast was good value.
