The hotel offered amazing views of the stunning countryside and was located within close proximity to the famous waterfalls. the rooms were beautifully decorated, and the breakfast offered a good variety of options that were delicious. Another advantage was the friendly and accommodating staff who were always willing to help.

There were no negative aspects to my stay at this hotel. the experience was enjoyable and relaxing, and the staff went above and beyond to ensure that all guests had a comfortable stay.

We had a fantastic stay at this hidden gem nestled away from all the 'hub bub' down a quiet road. The hotel facilities were top-notch, with beautiful gardens filled with resident rabbits, ducks, and chickens. The breakfast choices were vast and delicious, and the staff, including the warm and friendly owner, Vanessa, were incredibly helpful and accommodating. The location was perfect for exploring the local area, with Vanessa providing excellent recommendations for places to visit and eat at. this was a truly exceptional establishment.

Our stay at this hotel was truly luxurious. The private facilities provided exclusive amenities that catered to our needs. The garden area was beautiful and provided a peaceful environment for relaxation. The location provided easy access to local attractions. The leisure/TV room was a great addition.

The only minor issue we found was with the service. Although the staff was polite, they seemed overwhelmed at times, which affected their responsiveness to requests.

Wow, Thornton Lodge was such a great find! Excellent value for money with a huge, tastefully decorated room and amazing tea and coffee facilities. The location in the beautiful countryside was peaceful and the staff, especially Vanessa, were dedicated to making our stay special.

The lodge grounds were stunning, and I loved spotting deer and rabbits. And when I had a little car mishap, Vanessa went above and beyond by offering tea and leaving a bottle of prosecco for me. I had a fantastic time and would highly recommend this lodge.

Our stay at Thornton Lodge was absolutely lovely. We had a fantastic time after our wedding, enjoying the beautiful surroundings and luxurious bedroom. Vanessa, the host, was incredibly accommodating and made sure that our vegetarian dietary needs were met without any hesitation. The breakfast was delicious, with a variety of options available, and we especially loved the homemade Christmas jam. Vanessa's attention to detail and personalized touches made our stay even more special. We were even treated to tea and a bottle of prosecco when we had a car accident and had to be towed back to the lodge. it was a wonderful experience and we highly recommend Thornton Lodge.
