The location is fantastic, with local shops, pubs, and restaurants just steps away. It's also a short drive or ferry journey to Teignmouth for more amenities and the beach. The cottage itself is well equipped and tastefully decorated, providing a warm and cosy atmosphere. The bathroom is clean and well finished, with a fantastic shower and plenty of hot water. The kitchen is well equipped, making it easy to prepare meals. off-site parking is provided for free.

The mattress on the double bed was too hard for our liking, which made for a somewhat uncomfortable sleep. The seating arrangement in the living room could have been better.

Loved the breathtaking garden views and the convenience of free WiFi and parking. Snorkelling and hiking nearby were a blast! The dishwasher and microwave in the well-equipped kitchen were a lifesaver. Terrace was a lovely spot to relax. Felt like a 5-star hotel!

Tide House exceeded my expectations with its comfortable bed, well-designed layout, and attention to detail. The furnishings and bathroom fittings were of high quality, and the kitchen facilities were great. The location was perfect, with amenities like a pub, butchers, and bakers just 100 yards away, and the beach areas a short 2-minute walk. The hosts, Eve and Mike, were fantastic, providing helpful assistance throughout my stay. Having a designated parking space, even though it was a short walk away, was a definite bonus. The complimentary bottle of Prosecco and truffles added a special touch to my experience. Tide House was an excellent choice for my 4-night stay.

We loved our stay at this seaside holiday cottage. It was beautifully presented and had everything we needed. The location was ideal, with shops and a bakery just steps away. The beach was only a short 5-minute walk away. The parking, although a few minutes walk from the property, was not a concern and a permit was provided. The cottage had a warm and cosy atmosphere, and the hosts were friendly and accommodating.
