just had a stopover in torridon and stayed at this awesome youth spot. seriously, staff were so friendly and the kitchen was brilliantly clean and organised. definitely coming back.

The location was absolutely stunning, situated upon a hill and offering breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains. It was the perfect stopover on my journey along the NC500 route. The service provided was top-notch, with housekeeping ensuring that my room was always clean and comfortable. I also appreciated the pet amenities available, as I was traveling with my furry friend. The shared kitchen was a great convenience, allowing me to prepare my own meals. Additionally, the staff, from the knowledgeable manager to the friendly receptionist, were all incredibly helpful and made me feel right at home.

I would highly recommend this hotel to everyone.

Good, traditional Youth Hostel. Nice, clean, spacious with lots of open public space. Enjoyed the reading room with a chess board. Big, clean, welcoming kitchen with lots of space for many people cooking and cleaning at once. Breakfast included and it was plentiful and wholesome. Superb location near shops but also surrounded by wilderness. One track road for about 5 miles if you're coming anti-clockwise.

our stay at torridon was even better than before. the hostel's atmosphere, surrounded by mountains, creates a warm and friendly environment. we enjoyed chatting with fellow hikers in the cosy lounge and the well-equipped kitchen made cooking a breeze. special shoutout to the understanding reception guy who helped us. youth exceeded our expectations during this romantic stay.

We stayed at this hostel as part of our North Coast 500 trip. Em, the staff member, was welcoming and provided information on nearby walking trails and a great place to eat. The trail offered peaceful scenery with wildlife sightings. Our room was clean and comfortable, with bunk beds and single beds. The open bathroom and showers were well-maintained. Laundry facilities were available. We would definitely stay here again if we do the trip again.

We were blown away by the stunning location and breathtaking views of the Scottish Highlands from every window. The spacious room we had could fit four people, and the kitchen facilities were impressive and perfect for cooking up a storm. The staff were super friendly and welcoming, providing great information and assistance. The hostel also had convenient parking, making it easy for us to bring our car. As guests with disabilities, we appreciated the clean and accessible showers and the helpful nature of the staff.
