We had a wonderful stay at a cozy cottage surrounded by beautiful scenery. The property was full of character and had all the amenities we needed. The location was perfect, close to local amenities and a short distance to Lake Windermere. Despite a few minor maintenance issues, we would definitely recommend staying here. it was a great experience and we would love to return.

I had a wonderful stay at Treacle Cottage! The location was perfect, nestled between the town and the lake, allowing for easy access to both. The cottage itself was full of character and beautifully furnished, making me feel right at home. It was also impeccably clean and tidy throughout, with all the necessary facilities and clear instructions for their use. The outside space was lovely, with well-maintained gardens and comfortable furniture to enjoy the peaceful surroundings. The bedrooms, en-suites, and other bathrooms/toilets were fantastic, providing ample space and privacy for everyone. The dining room was spacious, and the kitchen had everything we needed. Parking was also a plus, with enough space for up to three cars. I highly recommend Treacle Cottage for a memorable stay in a charming and well-equipped setting.

Excellent location, spacious property with large bedrooms, good parking, and two lounges. Cozy log fire, and a great selection of board games and DVDs. TVs in multiple rooms, including the bedroom. Huge dining room and well-equipped kitchen. Ensuite bathrooms in three bedrooms, plus a lovely main bathroom. Dog-friendly. Lovely garden with outdoor furniture. A short distance to local amenities and Lake Windermere.
