We had a fabulous three-course dinner with a stunning view of the harbour. The dishes were beautifully presented, and the English red wine from the Wessex vineyard was a delightful accompaniment. The staff, especially the barman, were friendly and approachable.

The full cooked breakfast didn't offer a vegetarian sausage option, but aside from that, there were no major negatives to mention.

Great central location close to town and the quay, making it convenient to explore the area. The hotel had decent-sized rooms that were comfortable and well-facilitated. The breakfast provided was excellent, and the well-stocked bar was a bonus for enjoying a drink after a day of exploration.

The restaurant staff seemed reluctant to accommodate specific seating requests, even though the restaurant was mostly empty.

We had an amazing stay at Tregarthen's. The staff were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The location of the hotel was perfect, just a short walk from the quay and boat trips. The restaurant was fabulous with a good menu choice and fast service. We enjoyed the stunning views from the dining room, overlooking the other islands. we were pleasantly surprised by the high standards and would highly recommend Tregarthen's to anyone visiting the Scillies.

Great sea views from the rooms, clean and comfortable accommodations, and friendly staff. The hotel is conveniently located near key attractions and had a good breakfast spread. The hotel was also generous with serving delicious portions of mussels.

The hotel needs to work on their dinner service as there were several mistakes with the orders and the quality of the food was inconsistent. The lack of attention to detail was off-putting, especially when advertised items were not available.

I recently had a wonderful stay at a hotel in Hugh Town on the Isles of Scilly. The hotel provided great value for money and had reasonable prices for both the rooms and the meals. I was impressed by the attention to detail and the friendly service from the staff. The basic amenities were well-maintained, and my room was clean and comfortable with a fabulous view. The large bathroom with a bath was a nice touch. Additionally, the breakfast offered a delicious selection of pastries that were a treat to start the day.

All was satisfactory during my stay.

This hotel has a great location outside where you can sit and overlook the harbour at any time of day. It's perfect for accessing the boats to all the other islands. The service and staff are excellent, always polite and friendly. The basic amenities in the rooms are good, although they could benefit from having two armchairs or a chair by the dressing table. The breakfast is always ample and of a good standard, especially the full English option.

That the breakfast selection could be improved, as it was mainly jams, cereals, juices, tea. It would have been nice to have some complementary hot breakfast options included in the price.
