I recently stayed at Tros Yr Afon Holiday Cottages and Manor House for a week-long getaway. The property had everything we needed, from a fully equipped kitchen to comfy bedding and towels. The decor was lovely, with the occasional mark that comes with constant use. The location was quiet, surrounded by nature with a woodland area behind and the beach just 600m away. The hosts were incredibly helpful and accommodating, making our experience even better. I just wish we could have stayed longer!

It was all superb.

The layout of the hotel itself, with a nice courtyard and lots of plants, creates a relaxed and historical atmosphere. The hotel is great for families, with plenty of room for kids to play outside. The location is also a highlight, being just minutes away from the city center. the properties are lovely from the outside, and the enclosed garden was perfect for our dog.

The interiors of the cottages are a bit tired and could benefit from some renovations. We noticed some issues, such as a broken picnic table in the garden and a gap between the kitchen tiles that caused a trip hazard.
