Lovely location, spacious lodge, clean and modern. Well-equipped kitchen. Comfortable bed. Owners were helpful and had excellent communication.

We got great value for our money with generous living space and a fully-equipped kitchen. The location was perfect with beautiful views of the lake and lots of activities for the family. The staff were friendly and provided excellent service.

I recently stayed at the lovely Troutbeck 12 in the Lake District for a few days of exploring. The lodge was clean and exactly as advertised, situated in a quiet part of the site. The communication with the owner was excellent, and I found it to be great value for money. The location was ideal for exploring the area, and the accommodation had good facilities, including provided essentials for cooking and cleaning. The beds and sofas were comfortable, and the outdoor seating area was a nice touch. It was spacious enough for six people, and perfect for families with young children. The hosts were quick, clear, and helpful in their communication before our stay. I would definitely stay here again.

The double bed was a bit uncomfortable, and could benefit from a mattress upgrade. , it would have been helpful to have more bin bags provided, especially for longer stays.
