We loved our stay at this hotel. The room was comfortable and had a small kitchenette with all the necessary amenities. The enclosed outside space was an added bonus. The breakfast at the pub was amazing, and the evening meals were also delicious. We appreciated being able to bring our dog along, and the proximity to a lovely walking area was great. The location of the hotel was fantastic, right on the heath with ponies and donkeys roaming free. The hotel also had an interesting historical background as a WW1 and WW2 airfield. The staff were friendly and the overall atmosphere was charming.

our honeymoon at a country pub just outside Boldre was amazing. The room was comfy, staff were friendly and gave great tips. Breakfast was fantastic and we loved the option to have meals in our courtyard. Can't wait to go back!

The pub is located in a beautiful and peaceful area, surrounded by the stunning New Forest, where you might encounter wild donkeys and horses during your walks. The rooms are spacious and include a small kitchen and a well-sized bathroom. The staff is friendly and provides excellent service, even offering an extra room for no extra charge when needed. The English breakfast is rich and satisfying, and the pub food is above standard, making it a great place to dine.

Great atmosphere and friendly staff; the pub was lively and enjoyable. The food was delicious and well presented, especially the mushroom soup and gammon steak. The pub had a cozy feeling with a roaring fire and plenty of activities for children. The pub's location was excellent, in the heart of the New Forest and close to attractions like Beaulieu village and the motor museum.

Some areas of the hotel were in need of maintenance, with grubby paintwork and old fittings. Cobwebs were seen in corners, which could have been cleaned.

During our visit to the New Forest, my family and I stumbled upon this hidden gem for a delightful dining experience. The Turfcutters Arms truly exceeded our expectations. The pub had a warm and inviting atmosphere, and the staff made us feel right at home.

Although there were a couple of minor drawbacks, such as some grubby paintwork and limited options for vegetarians, they did not overshadow the overall positive experience. The exceptional service and fantastic food more than made up for any shortcomings.

We stayed at Turfcutters Arms for a few nights as a couple and it was the perfect central base for exploring local attractions. The highlight was the amazing breakfast with fresh local produce, especially the heavenly strawberries. The unit was comfortable and well-equipped, with a charming cottage feel. The friendly owners and staff provided excellent customer service, and the pub next door served great food and drinks. a fantastic stay with a warm welcome and lovely surprises like the punnet of strawberries upon departure.

They even offered us an extra room for no extra charge when our requested room wasn't available. The room itself was spacious with a small kitchen and a decent-sized bathroom. The traditional British pub had a cozy beer garden and served delicious food, including a rich English breakfast. The location was perfect for exploring various attractions in the area. I also loved encountering wild donkeys and horses during my walks.
